At a meeting with Liz Nicholl, Chief Executive of UK Sport, who is also a partner in Sports and Our Lives Programme 2012, Prince Faisal asked to recognize physical fitness as a key element of Jordan's educational system. He welcomed the programme, which he said would have a lasting impact in Jordan. Nicholl, who is currently on a tour to 15 countries in which the programme is implemented, called for global attention to the successes realized by the programme through highlighting them during the Olympics and Paralympics games, to be held in London in 2012. She valued Jordan as a distinguished country among the 15 countries, which implemented the programme, adding that the Kingdom would be set as an example for new countries that would join the programme in the future.
