Amman News-Olive harvestOlive farmers in the northern part of Irbid, the Kfarat area, used the Eid Al Adha holiday to harvest their olive trees.

Mahmoud Bsharat, an owner of an olive press in the village of Hibras, said during the several-day holiday the number of people who wanted to have their olives pressed increased significantly.

Kfarat is considered one of the richest areas in the country in terms of olive trees as it is home to millions of trees, particularly those planted during the Roman era, according to Bsharat.
